Our Favorite Review: My wife and I enjoyed a lovey evening here for her Birthday weekend. The staff is amazingly informed about the restaurant’s cuisines. I am writing this post at 6:16 in the morning and I am still at an AWE over their food. The combination of fresh seafood and seasoning’s are a perfect taste for our palate. I would like to thank Cane H for his suggestion on which entree to try and for making the perfect drinks for my wife and I. I would also like to think Henry for his kindness and being so pleasant. These guys are very informed about their restaurant’s cuisines! Again if you are looking for that Louisiana taste, you have found it here!

2. The Iberian Pig

This restaurant specializes in pork-based tapas and entrees, as well as selling cocktails and wine. The atmosphere is modern and sleek.

Our Favorite Review: Fantastic Tapas!! The flavors are impeccable. Highly recommend going for their happy hour and getting their chef selected cheese and meat board (pictured) very affordable and filling. They recommend ordering 2-3 tapas per person if you’re looking at price. They had a pork dish (also pictured) that is literally melt in your mouth. It’s a staff favorite and I can see why! Make sure to make a reservation as it’s usually full and the bar is first come, first serve. Not cheap, but worth it for an occasional splurge or during happy hour!

3. no. 246

You can get your fill of delicious Italian food that comes from local sources either on the patio where there’s always a lot going on, or in the dining room where sun fills up the space.

Our Favorite Review: Awesome meal and service! Went here on Feb 10 for birthday dinner around 7pm for my boyfriend and received excellent meal and service. The ambiance and atmosphere of the place is calming and beautiful! Our server was amazing and knew the menu very well and had many great recommendations. There were not many dairy-free or vegan options on the menu which makes sense for an Italian restaurant but my options personally were limited but what I did get the black spaghetti and salad tasted great. My boyfriend and daughter enjoyed their pizza, meatballs and chicken parmesan meals as well. I would definitely recommend this place if you are not vegan or dairy sensitive.

4. Kimball House

The raw oysters were the standout dish, but The Guava Batida, Cava Colada, and New Tokyo are also good choices. They are known for their creative cocktails. The ambiance is hip and cool with an industrial vibe.

Address: 303 E Howard Ave, Decatur, GA 30030, United States

Google Review Rating: 4.7 (1.1k Reviews)

Our Favorite Review: Everything about Kimball House is impressive. Luke and the other bartenders did a great job with cocktails and they were all knowledgeable about the oyster selection, which is unmatched. Kimball House is worth the trip to Decatur from Atlanta every time. We will definitely be back.

5. The White Bull

They believe that thoughtfully- prepared food using seasonal and local ingredients ought to be served in a space that is both modern and rustic. The menu offers something for everyone with a focus on shareable plates.

Address: 123 E Court Square, Decatur, GA 30030, United States

Google Review Rating: 4.5 (498 Reviews)

Our Favorite Review: White Bull is one of my favorite farm to table Italian restaurants. We have been going here for Valentines every year since we moved to Decatur. We always do the Chef’s tasting menu. Our first year they featured a vegetarian menu, which wasn’t my husbands favorite. This year (2022) it was not vegetarian, and we loved every bite. We even splurged for the wine pairing and it was delightful!

We chose to sit outside this year. While we love the inside ambiance, we prefer the well heated outdoor patio. There are heat lanterns for every table, and 2 fire pits. We did go home smelling like a bon fire, but what else would you expect.

The waiter, Russel was fantastic! So helpful! He even took a picture of the bottle of wine we loved from the pairing and air dropped it to us.

I highly recommend White Bull for a date night, special event, or even just a tasty meal.

6. Revival

This restaurant is perfect for those who enjoy Southern food served in a creative way, some even family-style. If you’re looking to dine outside, no problem! This place has a large patio area.

Address: 129 Church St, Decatur, GA 30030, United States

Google Review Rating: 4.4 (725 Reviews)

Our Favorite Review: This is the second time we have eaten here and we will be back every time we come to Decatur! The menu has so many choices, it feels fresh every time. The food is amazing! We live in an area with lots of Southern diners with “meat and 3” but they really aren’t a fair representation of true Southern Cuisine. Revival is, including the warm Southern hospitality that is legendary (and not always easy to find). You will find it here! This has been a delightful and lovely evening to remember! 💖 We had the family style dinner, and loved the unique salad, the deviled ham on toast, my meatloaf (glaze on the side) with my favorites of the four sides being the tender potatoes and 3 bean salad. Yum! The banana pudding g was the perfect end to a great evening!

7. Wahoo! Grill

A charming bistro in the heart of the neighborhood, serving an array of seafood and American favorites. Dine indoors amongst the glass walls or al fresco on our garden patio.

Address: 1042 W College Ave, Decatur, GA 30030, United States

Google Review Rating: 4.5 (1.1k Reviews)

Our Favorite Review: We had our wedding at Wahoo and to say that it was JUST amazing is an understatement. It was absolutely everything and more. The set up and energy of the place was beautiful! We are so so happy that we decided to do it there. Pam’s team is also wonderful! They went above and beyond to make sure everything was how we pictured it to be. We will definitely be using Wahoo for our future events 💜.
